Job summary

NBT in New York seeks a Compliance Specialist III to prepare complex compliance and government filings, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery within service standards. You will review filings and mentor teammates while supporting plan testing and regulatory reporting.

Requires an Associates degree with 5+ years of related experience and a QKA designation, plus strong Excel/Word skills to perform precise calculations and documentation.

Qualifications

• Associates degree with 5+ years related experience.
• QKA designation required.
• Proficient in retirement plan regulations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare complex compliance tests and year-end packages.
• Publish Form 5500, 5330, 8955-SSA and related schedules.
• Maintain knowledge of complex retirement plans.
• Resolve testing and 5500 issues; mentor teammates.
• Prepare asset reconciliations and plan valuations.
• Manage quarterly/annual allocations and plan documents.
• Assist with QDRO allocations.
