NBT is seeking a Compliance Specialist III to lead increasingly complex regulatory filings and ensure accuracy within service standards.

You will review filings, prepare year-end tests, and mentor team members while coordinating with Plan Consultants and auditors. This role requires an ASPPA QKA designation, an associate degree with 5+ years of related experience, and strong Excel/Word skills.

Qualificações

• Associates degree plus 5+ years related experience or equivalent.
• ASPPA Qualified 401(k) Administrator (QKA) designation required.
• Ability to read retirement adoption agreements and government instructions.
• Ability to write reports and emails/correspondence, and work effectively with employees across the company.
• Advanced math skills including fractions, percentages, and ratios.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare compliance tests and year end packages including: eligibility determinations, contributions, and tests.
• Prepare, review, and publish Form 5500, 5330, 8955-SSA and other regulatory forms.
• Maintain knowledge of complex plans and continue to learn more difficult plan types.
• Research and resolve testing and 5500 issues; mentor other team members.
• Prepare asset reconciliation and plan documents as needed.
