Zusammenfassung

NBT is seeking a Compliance Specialist III to drive accurate and timely compliance and government filings within established service standards. You will review complex filings, mentor peers, and ensure quality deliverables across the team.

The role requires an Associates degree with 5+ years of experience or equivalent, plus the ASPPA QKA designation. Proficiency in Excel/Word and strong math skills are essential for success.

Qualifikationen

• Associates degree and 5+ years related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• ASPPA Qualified 401(k) Administrator (QKA) designation required.

Aufgaben

• Prepare compliance tests and year end packages including eligibility determinations, contributions, forfeitures, and various ADP/ACP/Top Heavy/410(b) tests.
• Prepare, review, and publish Form 5500, Form 5330, Form 8955-SSA and other regulatory forms.
• Maintain knowledge of moderate-to-complex plans and assist with more complex plans.
• Research and resolve testing and 5500 issues, mentoring others and improving processes against best practices.
• Prepare asset reconciliation and research differences for plan valuation and reporting.
• Prepare outside asset and balance forward earnings allocations and participant validations.
• Prepare Plan Documents such as Restatements, Amendments, SPDs, and Notices.
