Job summary

NBT is seeking a Compliance Specialist III in the United States to manage increasingly complex compliance and government filings, ensuring accuracy and adherence to department procedures.

You will review filings, mentor team members, and contribute to process improvement while handling plan testing, 5500 forms, and annual allocations.

This role requires an Associate degree with 5+ years' experience and a QKA designation, with strong Excel skills and the ability to work independently.

Qualifications

• Associates degree with 5+ years related experience or equivalent
• ASPPA QKA designation required
• Strong math and Excel/Word proficiency

Responsibilities

• Prepare compliance tests and year end packages including tests and determinations.
• Prepare and publish Form 5500, 5330, 8955-SSA and related schedules for large filer plans.
• Maintain knowledge of moderate complexity plans and learn more complex plans.
• Research and resolve testing and 5500 issues, mentor other team members.
• Prepare asset reconciliations and research differences for valuation and reporting.
