Job summary

Chime is seeking a Sr. Associate, Compliance Advisory to partner with Complaints, Product, Operations and other teams to provide regulatory guidance as a second line of defense.

You will oversee consumer complaint processes, support new product operations advisory, and drive remediation while identifying risks and improving practices. The role offers a base salary of $101,000–$140,000 plus bonus and equity with benefits.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of compliance experience in fintech, banking, or financial services with consumer products experience.
• Direct hands-on experience with deposit accounts and credit products.
• Hands-on experience with consumer complaints and complaint-program management and oversight.
• Strong regulatory knowledge with ability to translate regulations into practical guidance for products and processes.
• Experience supporting regulatory exams, bank partner reviews, or internal audits.

Responsibilities

• Advise the first line of defense on complaint-management requirements, regulatory expectations, and best practices.
• Review complaint processes, identify gaps, and drive remediation from discovery to implementation.
• Develop and refine complaint procedures, guidance, and training materials.
• Provide compliance advisory support for new products and changes to existing products.
• Translate complex compliance requirements into clear, practical guidance for business partners and member-facing teams.
