Job summary

Chime is hiring a Senior Associate for the Compliance Assurance & Testing team in the United States. You will lead end-to-end compliance testing, collaborating with cross-functional teams and bank partners to identify risks and ensure remediation.

You will maintain current knowledge of applicable laws and regulations, design automated monitoring solutions, and report findings to senior management. Bonus eligibility and equity are offered with a base salary starting at $101,000.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of work experience in regulatory compliance testing in financial services, risk, or fintech.
• Knowledge of consumer financial protection, banking, payment networks, money transmission, and consumer lending.
• Strong problem-solving skills with initiative and independence.
• Ability to work with ambiguity and multiple priorities while balancing stakeholders.
• Experience with SQL or data visualization is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end compliance testing: scope reviews, gather docs, perform testing, and report results to senior management.
• Identify solutions to complex issues/findings and ensure remediation through follow-up.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support bank partner testing oversight.
• Design and automate internal compliance monitoring and testing to identify trends and risks.
• Maintain knowledge of applicable laws and regulations and assess regulatory impact on products/services.
