Auto Club Enterprises is seeking a Claims Complex Property Adjuster to manage high-complexity homeowner claim files across multiple markets. You will interpret loss data, conduct investigations, assess coverage and damages, negotiate settlements, and ensure compliance with state and federal laws.

The role requires handling high-stakes claims, mentoring junior staff, and possibly testifying in legal proceedings while delivering service aligned with company guidelines.

Qualifications

• 7-9 years prior claims handling experience.
• 7-9 years property claims administration experience preferred.
• Advanced knowledge of insurance, coverage investigation, scope and damage assessment, negligence and subrogation.

Responsibilities

• Identify and obtain statements from insureds, claimants, and witnesses and conduct investigations.
• Explain coverages and claims process in writing or verbally per regulatory requirements.
• Evaluate and negotiate within settlement authority to resolve first-party claims across multiple markets.
• Mentor and coach less experienced personnel per Claims guidelines.
• Attend litigation proceedings and provide sworn testimony when required.
• Prepare comprehensive reports on high-profile claims for senior management.
• Respond quickly to customer needs and problems.
