Job summary

AAA Auto Club Enterprises is seeking a seasoned Property Claims professional to support homeowner claim operations. You will handle moderate to high complexity losses, interpret First Notice of Loss information, conduct investigations, evaluate coverages, negotiate, and resolve claims in compliance with state and federal laws.

The role requires strong analytical skills, discretion, and customer-service focus, with 4–6 years in claims handling and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 4–6 years of prior claims handling experience.
• 4–6 years of property claims administration experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of claims administration best practices and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Identify and obtain statements from insureds, vendors and witnesses; conduct phone investigations to determine coverage and damages.
• Explain policy coverages, benefits and claims process in verbal or written form per regulatory requirements.
• Evaluate, decide and negotiate within settlement authority for first-party claims in multiple markets.
• Coordinate with internal and external departments as required.
• Demonstrate discretion and independent judgment in analysis and problem-solving to manage losses.
• May attend and participate in legal proceedings.
