AAA Auto Club Enterprises is seeking an experienced Claims professional to support the Property Claims operation for Homeowner policies. You will interpret First Notice of Loss, conduct investigations, evaluate coverage and damages, negotiate settlements, and resolve claims with compliance to state and federal laws.

The role involves handling high-complexity claims, mentoring junior staff, and potentially testifying in legal settings.

Qualifikationen

• 7-9 years prior claims handling experience.
• 7-9 years property claims administration experience.
• Advanced knowledge of insurance, coverage investigation, scope and damage assessment.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.

Aufgaben

• Identify and obtain statements from insureds, claimants and witnesses; assess liability and damages.
• Communicate with members, insureds, claimants, vendors; explain coverages and claims process.
• Evaluate and negotiate within settlement authority for first-party claims.
• Mentor and train less experienced personnel in claims practices.
