AAA Auto Club Enterprises seeks an experienced Property Claims professional to support homeowner claims for the Interinsurance Exchange, ensuring compliance with state and federal laws. You will interpret First Notice of Loss, investigate, evaluate coverage and damages, negotiate within authority, and resolve complex claims with discretion and professional integrity.

The role requires customer-focused service, strong regulatory knowledge, and the ability to mentor others.

Qualifications

• Bachelor equivalence of education and experience preferred.
• 7-9 years of prior claims handling experience required.
• 7-9 years of property claims administration experience preferred.
• Advanced knowledge of insurance, coverage investigation, scope and damage assessment, negligence and subrogation principles.
• Familiarity with claims software and MS Office suite.

Responsibilities

• Identify statements from insureds, claimants and witnesses; determine coverage and damages.
• Explain policy coverages and claims process; address complex coverage and subrogation issues.
• Evaluate and negotiate within settlement authority for first-party claims in multiple markets.
• Mentor and coach less experienced personnel within Claims guidelines.
• May attend legal proceedings and provide sworn testimony.
• Prepare comprehensive formal reporting on high-profile claims.
• Respond quickly to customer needs and problems.
