Job summary

CNA Insurance seeks a dedicated role managing high-exposure, complex mass tort litigation claims. You will analyze coverage, develop resolution strategies, and coordinate claim resolution with internal and external partners.

Hybrid schedule, flexibility in office locations, and a competitive base pay range of $72,000 to $141,000 annually are offered. Requires JD or BA, strong negotiation, and 6+ years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• JD or Bachelor's degree in a Claims organization or legal capacity.
• Typically a minimum six years of relevant claims or legal experience.
• Must have or be able to obtain and maintain an Insurance Adjuster License within 90 days of hire where applicable.
• Negotiation experience, including mediations.
• Abuse, product liability, pollution, and/or high severity general liability claims experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage an inventory of complex commercial litigation claims requiring technical expertise, independent judgement and proactive claim handling.
• Analyze policy language and coverage obligations and prepare written coverage determinations.
• Develop, own, and execute claim resolution strategies, including risk transfer, settlement negotiations, and all aspects of litigation management.
• Collaborate with internal and external business partners to move claims to closure.
• Ensure exceptional customer service through proactive claim management and professional communication with insureds and claimants.
