Job summary

AIG is seeking a Complex Director in Excess Claims to manage some of the largest and most complex Casualty claims, including multi-vehicle auto accidents, plant explosions, and class action claims. You will investigate, evaluate, and disposition claims while reviewing coverage under Excess CGL and auto policies and guiding litigation strategy.

You will direct litigation, attend mediations and trials, assess liability and damages, and present recommendations to senior management.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of Commercial/Industry claims experience.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Experience with litigation management, ADR, and mediation.

Responsibilities

• Handle some of the largest and most complex Casualty claims in the industry.
• Review coverage under Excess CGL and auto policies; participate in investigation and control litigation strategy.
• Present large value cases to senior management and negotiate multimillion-dollar claims with top plaintiff attorneys.
