Job summary

Velera is seeking a Senior Compensation Analyst to oversee merit, incentive, and performance management programs within a remote-first environment. You will partner with HR, Payroll, and leaders to ensure accurate data, governance, and timely payouts while maintaining executive compensation processes as needed.

You will administer Workday compensation modules, drive process improvements, and produce reports to support decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, business administration, finance, or related field.
• 7+ years of progressive compensation experience, including program administration and market pricing.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a senior-level compensation role.
• Minimum 2 years’ Executive Compensation experience preferred.
• Experience leading annual compensation planning processes (merit, bonus, performance management).
• Experience partnering with senior leaders and HR stakeholders on complex compensation matters.
• Workday experience required.
• Power BI experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee merit and incentive planning processes with governance, testing, and reporting.
• Coordinate annual performance management cycle including goal setting and calibrations.
• Serve as primary Workday compensation administrator and SME.
• Develop project plans and deliverables for compensation programs.
• Create program documentation, training materials, and leadership communications.
• Produce standard and ad hoc reports and dashboards for decision-making.
• Collaborate with HR, Payroll, Talent Acquisition, and leaders to ensure smooth delivery.
• Support executive compensation administration and related governance.
