Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a Senior Compensation Analyst to join the Compensation team. The role focuses on designing, administering, analyzing, and improving compensation programs across a large, multi-state health system.

You’ll leverage Workday, BI tools, and analytics to deliver insights, influence leaders, and ensure data integrity while collaborating with HR, Payroll, Finance, Tech, and other functions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR/Finance/Business/Economics/Statistics/Analytics or related.
• Minimum five years of progressive compensation experience in a large multi-state organization.
• Experience administering compensation programs, salary structures, market pricing processes & policies.
• Experience partnering with leaders to influence decisions through data-driven recommendations.
• Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Experience with HR ERP platforms such as Workday, Oracle, SAP, or SuccessFactors.
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.

Responsibilities

• Support administration of compensation programs and annual cycle activities.
• Serve as a process owner for compensation initiatives and system enhancements.
• Conduct compensation analyses and develop recommendations for groups.
• Apply data techniques to assess pay equity, market competitiveness, trends, and structures.
• Utilize Workday, Snowflake, Power BI and other tools to analyze compensation data.
• Collaborate with HR, Finance, Technology, and business leaders for insights.
• Monitor and improve data integrity through audits and process improvements.
• Manage compensation applications vendor relationships and admin.
• Support dashboards, reports, and data governance across HR functions.
• Assist leadership with analyses, presentations, and project deliverables.
• Lead compensation-related projects from design to implementation.
