We're seeking an experienced Senior Compensation Analyst to join our Compensation team and help drive strategic compensation decisions through a combination of deep compensation expertise and advanced analytical capabilities.

As a valued member of our Human Resources team, you'll play a critical role in designing, administering, analyzing, and improving compensation programs that support our workforce strategy across a large, complex, multi-state healthcare organization. This role offers the opportunity to influence compensation practices, leverage enterprise data and analytics tools, and partner with leaders across HR, Finance, Technology, and the business to deliver meaningful insights and recommendations.

About This Opportunity

This position is ideal for a compensation professional who combines strong knowledge of compensation programs, market analysis, pay practices, and job structures with hands-on experience using data and analytics to solve complex business challenges.

The successful candidate will be ready to contribute immediately by applying statistical and analytical techniques to evaluate pay equity, market competitiveness, compensation trends, salary structures, and workforce movement patterns while helping leaders make informed compensation decisions.

What You'll Do
  • Support administration of compensation programs and annual compensation cycle activities, including merit planning, minimum wage adjustments, compression analyses, market pricing reviews, and incentive award processes.
  • Serve as a process owner and/or implementation lead for compensation initiatives and system enhancements.
  • Conduct compensation analyses and develop recommendations for individuals, departments, and organizational groups.
  • Apply data and analysis techniques to assess pay equity, market competitiveness, compensation trends, salary structure, and workforce movement patterns.
  • Utilize Workday, Snowflake, Power BI, and other enterprise tools to gather, analyze, validate, and report on workforce and compensation data.
  • Work with governed HR datasets and enterprise analytics environments, including Workday, Nexus, or comparable platforms.
  • Translate complex compensation questions into accurate, practical insights that support business and compensation decisions.
  • Proactively monitor and improve compensation data integrity through audits, validations, process enhancements, and system optimization.
  • Manage vendor relationships for compensation applications, including upgrades, testing, configuration, training, and ongoing administration.
  • Collaborate with HR Technology, Payroll, and other HR functions to support compensation systems, reporting, dashboards, and data governance.
  • Support job evaluation activities using established methodologies and market pricing practices.
  • Assist compensation leadership with analyses, presentations, executive materials, and project deliverables.
  • Manage compensation-related projects from design through implementation while ensuring quality, timeliness, and stakeholder alignment.
  • Support market survey participation, data submissions, and market intelligence efforts.
  • Collaborate with technical partners to execute large-scale compensation and job data updates.
  • Continuously identify opportunities to improve compensation processes, technology, reporting, and operational effectiveness.
What You'll Bring
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Finance, Business, Economics, Statistics, Analytics, or a related field.
  • Minimum five years of progressive compensation experience in a large, complex organization operating across multiple states.
  • Experience administering compensation programs, salary structures, market pricing processes, and compensation-related policies.
  • Experience partnering with leaders and influencing business decisions through data-driven recommendations.
  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong knowledge of compensation principles, including job evaluation, market pricing, organizational structures, salary administration, and pay practices.
  • Experience using HR ERP platforms such as Workday, Oracle, SAP, or SuccessFactors.
  • Experience using compensation administration tools such as CompAnalyst, PayFactors, or MarketPay.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex information clearly to diverse audiences.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a collaborative, team-oriented environment while maintaining a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
Preferred
