Avanath is seeking a seasoned Property/Community Manager to oversee a Portland-area community, ensuring resident satisfaction and financial performance. You will manage budgets, respond to resident concerns, and coordinate services with senior leadership and partners.

Ideal candidates bring 5–7 years in property management, strong leadership, and proficiency in Microsoft Office to support daily operations, reporting, and compliance with applicable laws and guidelines.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of experience in the property management industry.
• 2+ years of experience as a community/property manager.
• Demonstrated ability to diffuse and respond to resident concerns, avoiding escalation.
• Proven effective and efficient leadership experience.
• Knowledge of LIHTC and Tax Credit qualifications required.
• Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Capacity to interact effectively with senior executives.
• Ability to work well under time and other constraints.
• Professional presentation and appearance.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), internet, and email.

Responsibilities

• Resident relations and customer service throughout the life-cycle from move-in to move-out.
• Manage budgets, rent rolls, projections, and occupancy goals; strive for 0% rent delinquency.
• Communicate resident concerns to senior leadership and coordinate services.
• Oversee on-site operations, vendor relationships, and maintenance.
• Lead and develop on-site staff; ensure effective performance and scheduling.
• Ensure compliance with policies, Fair Housing, and applicable laws.
