Job summary

Mobile Communications America, Inc. seeks a skilled Communication Systems Technician II in the Savannah, GA area to support our Voice division. This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and installing radio systems for public safety and other critical customers, with a focus on two-way radios and P25/MotoTRBO platforms.

You will work with customers to define installation strategies, participate in on-call rotations, and contribute to team knowledge through mentoring and hands-on practice.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of technical service and installation experience.
• Proficient with radio equipment – installation, programming, troubleshooting.
• P25 and/or MotoTRBO experience required.
• Strong understanding of radio theory and RF propagation.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and troubleshoot complex equipment, programming, and installation issues.
• Restore systems and bring communications online for public safety and hospitals.
• Collaborate with customers to plan installation and programming strategies.
• Assist in scoping and quoting service, installation, and programming projects.
• Support talent development within the service team.
• Complete tickets accurately and on time.
• Apply firmware updates as requested and perform minor circuitry changes.
• Be willing to learn new technologies and participate in on-call rotations.
