Job summary

Mobile Communications America seeks an experienced Communication Systems Technician II to support our Voice division in the Lancaster, SC area. You will diagnose and repair complex radio systems, install and program equipment, and ensure critical communications remain online for public safety and hospitals.

The role requires hands-on expertise with Two-Way Radios, Land Mobile Radios, and P25 trunking, plus strong RF theory knowledge and customer-facing skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years, averaging 5+ years of technical service and installation experience.
• Proficient with radio equipment installation, programming, and troubleshooting.
• P25 and/or MotoTRBO experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve complex equipment, programming, system, and installation problems for Two-Way Radios and related radio systems.
• Restore communications to public safety, hospitals, and other mission-critical customers when issues arise.
• Collaborate with customers to plan installation/programming strategies and coordinate access to installation sites.
