Job summary

Amcor Flexibles, LLC is seeking a Sr. Communications Manager to lead multi-channel internal and external communications across North American Flexibles. You will partner with senior leadership, drive engagement, and shape brand messaging for both employees and external audiences.

The role requires hands-on media relations, strategic communications and change management experience within a global packaging company. This position emphasizes cross-functional collaboration and KPI-driven campaigns.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in liberal arts, communications or journalism
• Minimum seven years' experience as a corporate communicator
• Media and public relations experience
• Social media experience is a plus
• Preference for manufacturing sector experience
• Experience working in a large, global company with 50,000+ employees is a plus
• Strong writing/editing skills
• Ability to independently manage medium to high load/complexity projects

Responsibilities

• Manage internal communications ecosystems (intranet, town halls, announcements)
• Develop end-to-end communications strategy and campaigns
• Roll out new internal tools and processes with focus on employee engagement
• Provide communications counsel to senior leadership and business partners
• Balance vision with hands-on execution to deliver strategies
• Create campaigns to drive adoption and align with company direction
• Define consistent processes across functions for alignment and efficiency
• Support plant safety, community relations and policy communications
• Draft inputs for intranet, emails, press releases and executive presentations
• Support external communications initiatives (news releases, media outreach)
• Serve as Amcor brand ambassador and style guide custodian
• Analyze channel performance and optimize reach and relevance
