Job summary

Amcor Flexibles, LLC seeks a Senior Communications Manager to drive multi-channel communications for North American Flexibles. You will lead internal and external campaigns, build executive visibility, and apply emerging communications technologies to elevate engagement and trust across business units.

You will partner with senior leadership, shape messaging, and implement tools to improve employee engagement and change communications, while supporting the broader corporate communications team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in liberal arts, communications or journalism.
• Minimum seven years' experience as a corporate communicator.
• Media and public relations experience.
• Social media experience is a plus.
• Preference for manufacturing sector experience.
• Working at a large, global company with 50,000+ employees is a plus.
• Strong writing/editing skills.
• Ability to independently manage medium to high load/complexity projects.

Responsibilities

• Manage and evolve key internal communications ecosystems, including intranet, town halls, organizational announcements, etc.
• Develop and own end-to-end communications strategy and campaigns for various projects and programs, ensuring alignment with leadership messaging, transformation initiatives, and organizational updates.
• Roll out and implement new internal tools and processes with focus on employee engagement and change communications.
• Build relationships with senior leadership, business partners, divisions, and functions and provide communications counsel on messaging, timing, and campaigns.
• Balance vision with hands-on execution to deliver communication strategies.
• Create communication strategies that drive adoption and influence behaviors.
• Define consistent communication processes across functions and teams to drive alignment and efficiency.
• Identify opportunities, develop high-impact internal campaigns, including plant safety, community relations, policy changes, and more.
• Draft and secure input for intranet stories, digital signage, emails, media alerts, press releases, and executive presentations.
• Support senior leaders for internal/external engagement (presentation materials, speeches, bios, talking points).
• Support external initiatives like news releases, media outreach, press inquiries, and social posts.
• Serve as Amcor style guide and brand steward.
• Manage reporting/analytics for comms channels to improve adoption, reach, and relevance.
