Job summary

Amcor is seeking a Senior Manager, Communications for Corporate Functions to lead multi-channel global communications that align with Amcor's growth priorities. You will advise executives, manage media relations and guide change communications across the organization.

You will partner with the Global Communications team and business stakeholders to translate complex topics into clear messaging, measure impact, and drive a consistent communications program worldwide.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications or related discipline.
• 8–10 years external and internal communications experience, preferably in global or manufacturing environment.
• Experience advising executives and senior leadership.
• Media engagement and crisis management experience.
• Exceptional copywriting skills across formats and channels.
• Fluency in spoken and written English; additional languages a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support the communications needs of Corporate Functions, delivering effective, timely and high-quality communications that align with business priorities.
• Lead and execute integrated communication activities across platforms and channels.
• Cultivate relationships with key media and monitor external landscape for trends.
• Ensure leadership alignment by developing materials with context, messaging and resources.
• Track and measure communication effectiveness and provide improvement recommendations.
• Build relationships with leaders across the organization as a trusted advisor.
• Collaborate with the Global Communications team to drive consistency of messaging.
