Job summary

Amcor is seeking a Senior Manager, Communications for Corporate Functions in Illinois to develop and execute global, multi-channel communications, translating complex business topics into clear messaging for internal and external audiences, including executives, Investor Relations and media relations.

The role partners with the Global Communications team to drive campaigns, measure impact, advise senior leaders, manage crises and align storytelling with Amcor’s growth agenda across geographies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications or related discipline.
• 8–10 years external and internal communications experience, global or manufacturing environment preferred.
• Experience in change communications and multi-channel programs.
• Proven advisory experience with executives and senior leadership.
• Media engagement and crisis management experience.
• Exceptional copywriting across formats and channels.
• Fluency in English; other languages a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute integrated communications for Corporate Functions across global audiences.
• Provide strategic counsel to executives and align messaging with business goals.
• Lead media engagement, crisis communications and external partnerships.
• Create leadership materials and ensure consistent messaging across channels.
• Measure impact with metrics and optimize engagement and reach.
• Collaborate with the Global Communications team to support enterprise priorities.
