Job summary

Everon is seeking an experienced field service technician to troubleshoot, replace, and repair security and access control equipment. You will operate under supervision, proctor and train others, and ensure high-quality customer support while documenting service activity.

The role requires knowledge of intrusion, fire, CCTV, intercom, and access control systems, plus the ability to read blueprints and codes. A valid license and willingness to travel are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of experience in security/installation
• Strong communication and leadership skills when working with others
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and diagrams

Responsibilities

• Performs routine and emergency service calls and repairs malfunctioning equipment
• Proctors, coaches, and teaches others
• Provides reliable customer support and instruction on system operation
• Performs system testing and signal verification
• Maintains truck stock and tools for efficient task execution
• Documents service hours and task-related activities in a timely manner
• Travels as required and maintains a strong work ethic and attention to detail
