Job summary

Encore Bank in Grapevine, TX is seeking an Experienced Commercial Relationship Manager to grow mid-market client relationships with revenues over $20MM. You will develop prospects, profile clients, manage a portfolio, and collaborate across the bank to tailor financial solutions.

The role requires deep credit expertise, strong communication, and ability to structure complex credit transactions including CRE, lines of credit, M&A, SBA facilities, and treasury management alignment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum 5 years of relationship management experience, preferably with commercial or middle‑market customers.
• Minimum 5 years of banking experience, including C&I lending, treasury management, depository, and other commercial products.
• Minimum 5 years of credit experience (credit analyst, loan portfolio management, loan review, or equivalent).
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently.
• Strong business development and people skills to promote the bank.
• 5 years in industrial heavy equipment, transportation, and aviation lending is a plus.
• 5 years in franchise finance is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct client/prospect development daily or weekly.
• Profile clients and principals through in-depth analysis.
• Maintain a portfolio of mid-market clients (> $20MM revenue).
• Understand client needs and tailor financial solutions.
• Collaborate across bank teams to meet client needs.
• Structure complex credit transactions (CRE, lines of credit, M&A, SBA).
• Identify objectives and implement suitable financial solutions.
• Coordinate with Treasury Management for depository and cash solutions.
• Deliver excellent customer service and handle requests.
• Proactively seek new business relationships.
• Analyze financial data to assess creditworthiness and loan viability.
• Review financial statements and tax returns for credit decisions.
• Prepare and present loan information to committees.
