Job summary

Farmers & Merchants Bank of Central California is seeking a Commercial Relationship Manager to oversee a portfolio of commercial loans and drive growth through new business development across our targeted markets in California.

You will solicit loans from existing customers and business owners, establish new key relationships, and collaborate with credit teams to structure and price facilities. Strong negotiation and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 to 5 years of experience in commercial lending.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance; or equivalent.
• Proficient with bank PC applications including Windows, E‑mail, SilverLake, Jack Henry, Excel.
• Ability to build relationships and negotiate with clients.
• Good understanding of banking regulations and lending policies.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of commercial loans and grow it through new business.
• Solicit new loans from existing customers and business owners.
• Develop key relationships and expand the book of business.
• Promote bank services including deposits and treasury management.
• Collaborate with credit teams to structure facilities and pricing.
