Job summary

Farmers National Banc Corp. seeks a senior leader to supervise a team of relationship managers across commercial lending, treasury management and small business lending. You will coach staff, drive sales results, manage credit decisions within authority, and participate in executive loan governance.

You will also prepare performance reports, mentor staff, and ensure regulatory and policy compliance while maintaining client relationships and pursuing cross-sell opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Business Administration or Finance.
• Minimum of eight (8) years of experience in commercial lending.
• Knowledge of Word, Excel, Internet navigation/research, and Outlook is expected.
• Ability to clearly and effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach a team of lending personnel in Commercial Lending, Small Business and Treasury Management.
• Provide input towards production goal setting, performance management and recruitment.
• Actively participate as a permanent member of Executive Loan Committee.
• Prepare and present reports detailing team and individual goals/achievements.
• Sell business products and services to commercial customers and prospects as opportunities occur or required by management, typically through personal calling efforts or internal/external referrals.
• Analyze credit worthiness of commercial borrowers to decision requests within assigned loan authority or make recommendations for extending credit on requests exceeding such authority.
• Provide approval authority for Commercial Loan requests generated from Retail that are not eligible for Scored Underwriting.
• Monitor risk in loan portfolio to identify changes and take appropriate action to minimize credit risk.
• Cross-sell other Bank services to existing and prospective customers.
