Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business/finance required; 10+ years in commercial lending.
• Strong credit analysis and underwriting skills are essential.
• Proven ability to grow client relationships and cross-sell bank services.

Responsibilities

• Achieve annual loan, deposit and fee growth targets.
• Develop new business through outside activities.
• Maintain ongoing client contact to enhance experience.
• Assess client needs via reviews and meetings.
• Leverage CRM to generate leads and referrals.
• Represent bank in community orgs to source business.
• Build referral networks internally and externally.
• Maintain knowledge of products and competitors.
• Promote financial solutions to clients.
• Assemble cross-functional teams for complex requests.
• Analyze credit to determine borrowing capacity.
• Accountable for portfolio risk and asset quality.
• Ensure loan compliance and terms.
• Research market conditions relevant to business.
• Maintain regulatory compliance and training.
• Keep up to date on regulation changes.
• Mentor others and provide training as needed.
• Contribute to strategic discussions with senior management.
• Act as SME for difficult questions.
