Bank of Hawaii is seeking a Commercial Real Estate Loan professional to develop CRE lending opportunities and manage a CRE loan portfolio including construction and income properties. You will provide technical CRE support to other lending areas and drive business development.

The role requires demonstrating leadership, strong communication, and analytical skills, with flexibility for travel and scheduling as needed.

Qualifications

Bachelors degree from an accredited institution or equivalent experience.
Level III: 5 years of experience in commercial real estate lending; Level IV: 6+ years with supervisory/management experience.
Demonstrated proficiency with personal computers and Microsoft applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint); familiarity with bank software and systems; HP-12c calculator skills.
Excellent written and oral communication; strong analytical, organizational, and detail-oriented abilities.
Willingness to work flexible hours including holidays, weekends and evenings; valid drivers license and ability to travel.

Responsabilités

Manages and documents the loan portfolio of clients in accordance with departmental policies and procedures; conducts site visits with minimal supervision.
Identifies and pursues business development opportunities and solves problems.
Analyzes, structures and closes basic real estate transactions; prepares Credit Approval Memorandums for approval.
Provides support to branch and loan officers in CRE loan origination with quality service.
Supports the quality process and participates in meetings and cross-divisional activities.
Cross-sells other bank services.
Performs miscellaneous responsibilities as assigned.
