Qualifications

• Background in all aspects of commercial real estate lending and able to handle the largest, most complex credits.
• Proven ability to prospect and convert non-bank clients.
• Experience managing portfolios >$200–$300 million.
• Mentor others.

Responsibilities

• Builds and maintains client relationships to source deals, conduct analyses, structure loans, obtain approvals, complete due diligence, and close transactions for the assigned portfolio.
• Develops pipeline from existing portfolio, referrals, and new prospects.
• Negotiates and structures loan terms independently, including costs, repayment method, and collateral.
• Manages closing and booking of credit products and ensures accurate portfolio data in loan systems.
• Provides timely monitoring information to internal stakeholders to reflect current risk and asset quality.
• Communicates with Department Manager and Credit Administration to promote a transparent end-to-end process.
• Monitors borrower performance and covenant compliance within the portfolio.
• Utilizes bank products to cross-sell where appropriate.
