Job summary

Firstsavingsbanks in Rapid City, SD seeks a Senior Loan Processor to proactively manage a diverse, complex commercial loan portfolio. You will oversee closings, modifications, renewals and extensions, ensuring compliance with company procedures and applicable regulations.

This branch-based position requires reviewing applications, preparing documentation, monitoring credit conditions, coordinating with lenders and analysts, and mentoring loan assistants to deliver accurate, timely service to

Qualifications

Associate’s degree or higher in a related field.
2–5+ years of commercial loan processing experience.
Familiarity with LaserPro or other banking systems is a plus.
Strong attention to detail required.

Responsibilities

Reviews and processes loan applications, ensuring completeness and accuracy of documentation.
Prepares and maintains loan documentation, including promissory notes and collateral documents.
Verifies insurance requirements are correct and up-to-date.
Ensures documents are properly executed and regulatory compliant.
Monitors loan files for up-to-date information and compliance requirements.
Maintains the file monitoring system (Tickler Reports).
Assists in loan disbursements and payments, maintaining accurate records.
Maintains clear communication with customers and responds to inquiries.
Collaborates with lending officers and credit analysts to facilitate origination and servicing.
Identifies obstacles to closings and presents viable solutions.
Reviews titles and resolves title issues, prepares escrow instructions.
Assists in training loan administrators.
Other duties as assigned.
