Job summary

Southside Bank is seeking a Senior Commercial Loan Processor to manage complex loan closings from term sheet through funding for real estate and other collateral. You will coordinate with clients, title companies, attorneys, and internal partners to ensure documentation meets credit policy and regulations, delivering an exceptional client experience.

The role requires attention to detail, the ability to manage multiple loans simultaneously, and strong communication skills in a fast-paced banking

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent with 4+ years related experience preferred.
• Prior commercial loan closing experience including due diligence requirements.
• Knowledge of policies, procedures, and regulations helpful.
• Finastra LaserPro knowledge preferred.
• Experience in direct customer interfaces preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate complex loan closings from term sheet to funding with internal partners, clients, title companies, and attorneys.
• Review loan documentation against credit approvals and regulatory requirements.
• Collect and analyze due diligence for collateral and loan types (real estate, participations, etc.).
• Prepare or engage counsel for documents and coordinate information flow among parties.
• Process initial funding and set up collateral tracking for new loans.
• Perfect collateral by filing UCCs and recording instruments as applicable.
• Maintain relationships to ensure an exceptional client experience.
• Uphold Bank policies, audit requirements, and data confidentiality.
