Job summary

First Citizens State Bank in Whitewater, WI seeks a Senior Loan Processor to join our Loan Operations team. You will manage multiple loan types, ensure accuracy, and maintain regulatory compliance while supporting training for junior staff.

The role emphasizes attention to detail, knowledge of TRID, and the ability to coordinate with third-party vendors to obtain appraisals, title work, floods, and Insurance documentation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 3–5 years of experience processing multiple loan types including commercial, consumer, agricultural, and/or residential mortgage loans.
• Community banking experience preferred.
• Knowledge of loan documentation, collateral, title work, flood regulations, and loan servicing processes preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare documentation for all loan types (commercial, agricultural, consumer, residential real estate).
• Coordinate with third-party vendors to order appraisals, title work, flood determinations, and insurance documentation.
• Review loan files for completeness and accuracy and obtain missing documentation.
• Apply TRID procedures accurately and in a timely manner.
• Maintain loan pipelines, tracking reports, and system records.
• Prepare payoff statements and process loan payoffs.
• Ensure compliance with bank policies, procedures, and regulations.
• Identify process improvements to enhance efficiency and service quality.
• Serve as a resource to lenders, branch staff, and other departments regarding loan processing requirements.
• Provide training and support to other loan operations team members.
