Job summary
Columbia Bank seeks a senior Commercial Banking Specialist to manage onboarding and ongoing relationships with Commercial customers. You will coordinate underwriting, documentation, and closing for C&I and construction loans, ensuring compliance and timely processing.
Maintain files, review title commitments, perform UCC searches, and collaborate with attorneys as needed to protect the bank's interests. Strong communication and 10+ years in banking are required.
Qualifications
- Solid loan administration experience with knowledge of complex lending structures.
- Ability to analyze title insurance commitment reports and title exceptions.
- Experience with real estate construction draw analysis, reconciliation and disbursement.
Responsibilities
- Liaise with Commercial customers during onboarding and ongoing relationship management.
- Coordinate underwriting, documentation and closing of C&I and construction loans and deposit accounts.
- Prepare data input sheets and maintain files for audits and third-party reviews.
- Ensure timing of closings and monitor regulatory compliance and bank policies.
- Review customer problems and facilitate processing of account maintenance and requests.
