Job summary

Columbia Bank seeks an experienced Commercial Loan Operations professional to liaison with Commercial customers throughout onboarding and ongoing relationship management. The role focuses on underwriting support, complex C&I and construction loan documentation, and regulatory compliance.

You will set up and monitor documents, prepare servicing data, and ensure timely closings while maintaining strong customer relations and cross-team collaboration.

Qualifications

• Education preferred: Bachelor's in business/finance or related discipline.
• Over 10 years in banking, loan administration and documentation required.
• Strong knowledge of complex lending structures and related processes.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with Commercial customers through onboarding and ongoing relationship management.
• Assist with underwriting, documentation, and closing of complex C&I, construction, and term loans.
• Set up, process, and monitor documents for package completion per regulatory requirements.
• Prepare data input sheets for boarding on servicing systems and maintain filing for audits.
• Review title insurance commitments and ensure compliance with bank policies.
• Provide guidance to team and mentor others as needed.
• Ensure closing conditions are met and loans close on time.
• Handle customer issues related to products and services and coordinate with departments.
