Job summary

Columbia Bank is seeking an experienced Commercial Banking professional to serve as the primary liaison for onboarding new banking relationships and managing ongoing Commercial customer relationships. You will work with the Relationship Team to gather underwriting data, prepare documentation for complex loan packages, and ensure timely closings and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

Experience onboarding commercial banking relationships and maintaining day-to-day relationships.
Knowledge of underwriting, documentation, and closing of complex Commercial & Industrial loans.
Ability to prepare data inputs for servicing systems and maintain required documentation.
Familiarity with bank policies, BSA, Regulation CC, E, and related regulations.

Responsibilities

Serve as primary liaison with Commercial customers through onboarding and ongoing relationship management.
Review information for underwriting, documentation, and closing of complex loans and deposit accounts.
Prepare and monitor documents to meet customer requests and regulatory specs.
Ensure closing conditions are met and loans close on time.
Coordinate with attorneys and other resources to protect the bank's interests.
Maintain files for third-party reviews and audits; support training as Subject Matter Expert.
