Job summary

Columbia Bank in Riverside, CA seeks a Commercial Banking Specialist to onboard new commercial relationships and manage ongoing client activity. You will work closely with the Relationship Team to gather underwriting data, prepare closing documents and monitor regulatory filings throughout the process.

The role requires deep knowledge of commercial lending, loan administration and title/USTP documentation, with a focus on precise processing, accuracy, and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10+ years in banking, loan administration and documentation.
• Ability to analyze title insurance commitments and title policy documentation.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and problem solving.
• Experience coordinating with attorneys and other financial resources.

Responsibilities

• Act as primary liaison with Commercial customers during onboarding and ongoing relationship management.
• Partner with Commercial Relationship Team to gather underwriting, documentation, and closing information for complex loans and deposit accounts.
• Prepare data input sheets and ensure files meet regulatory and closing requirements.
• Coordinate with attorneys to negotiate and finalize loan documents protecting the bank’s interests.
• Monitor documents, ticklers, and closing conditions to ensure timely loan closings and accurate servicing.
