Columbia Bank is seeking a seasoned Commercial Loan Specialist to act as the primary liaison during onboarding and ongoing relationship management for Commercial customers in Los Angeles. You will review underwriting needs, prepare and monitor documents, and ensure timely closing with cross-functional teams.

You will analyze title and insurance commitments, manage regulatory compliance, and provide expert guidance on complex lending transactions, construction draws, and deposits.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in business, finance or related discipline preferred.
• Experience in banking, loan administration and documentation required (10+ years).
• Knowledge of complex lending structures, letters of credit, borrower-based lending, multi-phased construction and multiple collateral properties.

Responsabilités

• Act as primary liaison with Commercial customers during onboarding and ongoing relationship management.
• Review information for underwriting, documentation and closing of complex loans and deposit accounts.
• Prepare data input sheets and board customer relationships on servicing systems.
• Ensure closing conditions are met and loans are closed timely.
• Analyze title insurance commitments and related documents for compliance.
• Maintain files and support audits and regulatory requirements.
