Job summary

Acrisure, a global Fintech leader, is seeking a Placement Specialist to manage new business and renewal processes for commercial insurance accounts. You will conduct exposure analysis, prepare quotes, negotiate terms, and present proposals to clients.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in mid-to-large commercial insurance placements, strong Excel skills, and licensing. This on-site role involves collaboration with client teams and carrier partners across markets.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant insurance experience in mid-to-large commercial placements.
• Excellent phone etiquette, written and verbal communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong critical thinking, financial analysis, and negotiation skills with ability to analyze market data.
• Able to work with minimum supervision; accepts direction on assignments.
• Proficient with MS Office, especially Excel and Word.
• Experience with Applied Epic is a plus.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks.
• Insurance license currently held; CRM/CISR/CIC/AAC?R preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage new business and renewal timelines and prepare coverage proposals.
• Develop market strategies for select accounts based on risk and market analysis.
• Evaluate alternative risk financing mechanisms, including large deductibles and captives.
• Structure and build insurance towers for higher coverage limits.
• Collaborate with Client Advisors, Account Service Teams, and carriers.
• Prepare property and casualty submissions with ACORD forms and exposure data.
• Analyze client exposure data and develop loss models when needed.
• Maintain relationships with carriers and stay informed of market trends.
