Job summary

Insurance Office of America seeks a Senior Account Associate - Commercial Lines to provide administrative and customer service support to the account team, under an Account Manager, and manage moderately complex accounts.

The role covers policy management, endorsements, renewals, proposals, contract review, and ensuring timely communication and service excellence. A current insurance license is required; CISR preferred along with MS Office proficiency.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years of customer service experience in insurance.
• Thorough knowledge of insurance brokerage and client needs.
• Active licensing is required; CISR designation preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent customer service, communication, multitasking, and organization.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• High School Diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Direct day-to-day activities and workflow of Team Support and Account staff.
• Track policy expirations and ensure renewals are processed on time.
• Process endorsements, audits, cancellations, and related policy changes.
• Support new and renewal business from client research to proposal and binding.
• Review contracts to ensure proper coverages are included.
• Maintain agency management systems and carrier/vendor platforms for data accuracy.
• Monitor delinquent accounts and pursue collections.
• Communicate workload status and issues with the account team.
