Job summary

Insurance Office of America seeks a Senior Account Associate - Commercial Lines to provide administrative and customer service support to the account team and producers. You will manage policy expirations, endorsements, and renewals while ensuring accuracy and timely processing.

You will assist with submissions, coverages, pricing, and proposals, supporting both new and renewal business. Strong MS Office skills and an active license (CISR preferred) are valuable.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of customer service experience in the insurance industry
• Thorough knowledge of insurance brokerage and client needs
• Active licensing required, CISR preferred
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Excellent communication, multitasking, and organizational abilities
• Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
• High School Diploma or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Direct day-to-day activities of Team Support/Receptionist, Account Assistant, and Account Associate
• Track policy expirations and ensure renewals are processed on time
• Handle endorsements, audits, cancellations, reinstatements, and related documents
• Support new and renewal business, gather underwriting info, prepare proposals, bind coverage
• Review contracts to ensure proper coverages and compliance
• Monitor accounts receivable and collect outstanding balances
• Maintain agency management systems and carrier/vendor data accuracy
• Communicate workload status and issues with the account team
• Deliver proactive service and respond quickly to service requests
• Stay updated on company policies and seek process improvements
• Demonstrate IOA values and leadership
