Insurance Office of America invites applications for a Senior Account Associate - Commercial Lines. You will provide administrative and customer service support to the account team, under the direction of an Account Manager or Producer, ensuring accuracy and timely service for client accounts.

This remote/hybrid role is based in the Eastern/Central time zones, with on-site needs in Longwood, Florida. Ideal candidates have 3+ years in insurance customer service, active licensing (CISR preferred),

Qualifications

• 3+ years of customer service experience in the insurance industry.
• Thorough knowledge of insurance brokerage and client needs.
• Active licensing, professional designation (CISR) preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Exceptional customer service, communication, multitasking, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• High School Diploma (or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Direct day-to-day activities and workflow of Team Support and Account staff.
• Track policy expirations and ensure renewals are processed accurately and on time.
• Handle policy endorsements, audits, cancellations, reinstatements, and related tasks.
• Support new and renewal business: research, submissions, proposals, binding, and follow-up.
• Assist in reviewing contracts to ensure proper coverages.
• Monitor delinquent accounts and coordinate collections efforts.
• Maintain agency management systems and carrier/vendor platforms.
• Communicate workload status and issues with the account team.
• Deliver proactive service and uphold company policies and continuous improvement.
• Champion IOA values with integrity and leadership.
