Job summary

Insurance Office of America is seeking a Senior Account Associate - Commercial Lines to support the account team across remote, Eastern and Central time zones. The role focuses on administrative and customer service excellence, under supervision of an Account Manager/Account Executive or Producer, ensuring quality standards are met.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in insurance client service, with active licensing or CISR preferred, plus strong analytical and communication skills and MS Office

Qualifications

• 3+ years of customer service experience in the insurance industry.
• Thorough knowledge of insurance brokerage and client needs.
• Active licensing; professional designation (CISR) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct day-to-day activities of Team Support/Receptionist, Account Assistant, and/or Account Associate.
• Track policy expirations and ensure renewals are processed on time.
• Handle endorsements, audits, cancellations, reinstatements and related policy documents.
• Support new and renewal business: gather information, prepare submissions, negotiate coverages and pricing, bind coverage.
• Review contracts to ensure proper coverages are included.
• Monitor delinquent accounts and collect outstanding balances.
• Maintain agency management systems and carrier/vendor platforms.
