Job summary

Insurance Office of America is seeking a Senior Account Associate - Commercial Lines to provide administrative and customer service support to the account team. You will work under supervision to ensure production and quality standards while safeguarding against liabilities.

You will manage policy expirations, endorsements, renewals, and assist with submissions, proposals, and binding coverage for client accounts across the transportation focus.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of customer service experience in the insurance industry.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).

Responsibilities

• Direct day-to-day activities and workflow of Team Support/Receptionist, Account Assistant, and/or Account Associate.
• Track policy expirations and ensure renewals are processed on time.
• Handle policy endorsements, audits, cancellations, reinstatements, and related documents.
• Support new and renewal business: gather underwriting information, prepare submissions, negotiate coverages and pricing.
• Review contracts to ensure proper coverages are included.
• Monitor delinquent accounts and collect outstanding balances.
• Maintain agency management systems and carrier/vendor platforms.
• Communicate workload status with the account team and ensure timely completion.
• Deliver excellent service and proactively respond to service requests.
• Stay updated on company policies and procedures.
• Seek continuous improvement and champion IOA values.
