Job summary

First Financial Bank Texas is seeking an experienced Commercial Lender to originate and service a wide range of loans for commercial clients in Creekside, Texas. You will evaluate profitability and structuring to protect the bank's interests, and you will engage with clients to grow loan portfolios.

The role requires 5–10 years of commercial banking lending experience, a Bachelor's degree in banking, finance or business, and strong interpersonal skills to build relationships and cross-sell bank

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in banking, finance or business-related field.
Formal Credit Training and/or underwriting knowledge experience.
Minimum 5-10 years of commercial bank lending experience.
Ability to expand loans, client relationships and cross sell bank products.
Familiarity with the sales, loan processing and closing processes.
Must have good interpersonal and communication skills and a proven track record of portfolio management.

Responsibilities

Make and service all types of Commercial and Real Estate loans either personally or in conjunction with other officers.
Provide guidance to customers to ensure their banking needs are met.
Promote the services and profitability of the Bank.
Develop new business to ensure a constant increase in loans and income to the Bank.
Must actively participate in Customer Service First sales and service culture, support the values of the organization and follow established company policies and procedures.
