Job summary

First Financial Bank is seeking an experienced Commercial Lender to originate and service a diverse portfolio of commercial and real estate loans in Creekside, Texas. You will assess profitability, structure deals, and guide customers to meet their financial needs.

You will drive business development in the commercial market, maintain strong client relationships, and promote bank services while upholding a service-first culture and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in banking/finance/business.
• Formal credit training or underwriting knowledge.
• 5–10 years of commercial bank lending experience.
• Ability to expand loans, client relationships and cross-sell bank products.
• Familiarity with the sales, loan processing and closing processes.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills and portfolio management.

Responsibilities

• Make and service all types of Commercial and Real Estate loans either personally or with others.
• Provide guidance to customers to ensure their banking needs are met.
• Promote the services and profitability of the Bank.
• Develop new business to increase loans and income for the Bank.
• Actively participate in Customer Service First sales and service culture.
