Fidelity Bank in Raleigh, NC seeks a Senior Business Development Officer I to lead customer relationships and drive loan production and deposit growth in the Cameron Village market. You will develop targeted business development plans, network with clients and COIs, and collaborate with the Branch Manager to generate quality referrals while maintaining credit quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 6 years of experience in commercial lending, credit, and business development or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• In-depth knowledge of commercial lending, including the ability to evaluate cash flow and collateral.
• Advanced financial analysis, strong credit underwriting, and analytical skills.
• Ability to handle confidential and proprietary information.
• Excellent communication skills, oral and written.
• Thorough understanding of loan laws and regulations.

Responsabilités

• Develop new client relationships to meet deposit and loan targets.
• Interview loan customers and process loan requests.
• Create a Personal Business Development Plan for the designated area with a prospect list of profitable relationships.
• Partner with the Branch Manager to ensure quality relationship building and referrals.
• Represent the Bank within the community by developing and promoting additional business and serving as an officer with a community organization.
• Analyze loan applications, financial statements, and base credit decisions on Bank Loan Policy.
• Ensure ongoing credit quality by monitoring loans and watchlist loans.
• Minimize loan losses through proper documentation and underwriting.
• Manage and grow a quality commercial loan portfolio.
