Insurance Office of America is seeking an experienced Commercial Insurance Account Manager in Miami, FL. The role focuses on managing an assigned book of business, providing day-to-day client service, and supporting retention efforts.

Multiple experience levels are considered, including Account Manager, Senior Account Manager, and Senior Account Executive. You will oversee renewal submissions, filings, and client communications while maintaining strong carrier relationships.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of account management experience or 5+ years of insurance industry experience.
• Active insurance license.
• Strong knowledge of insurance products and brokerage operations.
• Excellent customer service, communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• CIC or equivalent designation preferred.

Responsabilités

• Respond to client service requests and inquiries.
• Process policy changes, endorsements, billing requests, and claims support.
• Conduct coverage analysis and assist clients with policy-related questions.
• Maintain positive client relationships through responsive service.
• Manage policy expirations and renewal timelines.
• Gather underwriting information and prepare renewal submissions.
• Support renewal marketing efforts and proposal development.
• Assist with account retention initiatives.
• Maintain agency management systems and carrier/vendor platforms.
• Ensure account documentation is accurate and complete.
• Monitor activity and suspense systems to ensure timely completion of tasks.
• Follow company policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
• Assist with accounts receivable monitoring and collection efforts.
• Resolve billing and payment issues as needed.
• Maintain technical insurance knowledge and industry awareness.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
