Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Senior Commercial HVAC Service Technician in Chicago for on-site, permanent work. You will troubleshoot, diagnose, service and repair commercial/industrial HVAC systems, including RTUs, rooftops, DX systems, and chillers.

You must read schematics, have EPA Universal certification, and drive legally. Benefits include a company vehicle, gas card, 401(k) with match, PTO, holidays, overtime opportunities and comprehensive health coverage.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Commercial/Industrial HVAC service experience.
• Strong HVAC troubleshooting and diagnostics experience.
• Experience servicing RTUs, Rooftop Units, Packaged Units and DX Systems.
• Strong refrigeration and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
• EPA Universal Certification.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, service and repair commercial/industrial HVAC systems in the field.
• Work independently to identify and resolve complex mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration issues.
• Provide timely and quality maintenance and repairs on a variety of HVAC equipment.

Job Details

We are seeking an experienced Senior Commercial HVAC Service Technician to troubleshoot, diagnose, service and repair Commercial and Industrial HVAC Systems. This is a field-based Service role for someone who is comfortable working independently, diagnosing complex Mechanical, Electrical and Refrigeration issues, and servicing a variety of Commercial HVAC equipment.

MUST HAVE:

• 5+ Years of Commercial/Industrial HVAC Service experience
• Strong HVAC Troubleshooting and Diagnostics experience
• Experience servicing RTUs, Rooftop Units, Packaged Units and DX Systems
• Strong Refrigeration and Electrical Troubleshooting skills
• Ability to read Electrical Schematics and Wiring Diagrams
• EPA Universal Certification

NICE TO HAVE:

• Boiler experience
