Job summary

Enterprise Bank & Trust in Mesa, AZ seeks a VP, Senior Credit Analyst to lead underwriting of commercial loan transactions across real estate, accounts receivable, and asset-backed deals. You will evaluate cash flow, collateral and provide solid recommendations, while monitoring ongoing borrowing bases and certificates.

You’ll mentor junior staff, present to loan committees, and partner with lending teams to manage maturities and pipelines, ensuring service excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, business, or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in commercial credit involving complex transactions.
• Experience in asset-based lending required both in underwriting and monitoring.
• Ability to analyze cash flow, debt service, projection analysis and trend analysis.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Underwrite commercial loan transactions including CRE, C&I, leveraged finance, and tax credits.
• Clearly communicate with internal and external customers.
• Work with others to produce needed outcomes and meet deadlines.
• Complete follow-up analysis on financial statements and borrowing base history.
• Maintain up to date knowledge of financial industry, economy, market conditions, and competition.
• Provide support to lending officers in structuring and analyzing potential transactions.
• Partner with lending units to maintain oversight of future loan maturities and current pipeline to ensure deadlines are met.
• Be an active participant in weekly loan committee meetings as a representative of the Credit Department.
• Assist the Credit Manager in providing coaching and mentoring to junior credit associates.
• At times, accompany Relationship Managers on customer calls and participate in client meetings.
