Job summary

Enterprise Bank & Trust in Arizona seeks a VP, Senior Credit Analyst to underwrite commercial loan transactions across real estate, accounts receivable, inventory or fixed assets, and unsecured loans. You will perform cash flow analysis, collateral evaluation and thorough risk reviews.

You’ll mentor junior staff, participate in weekly loan committee meetings, and partner with lending units to manage maturities and the pipeline while upholding exceptional client service and compliance.

Qualifications

• Underwrite commercial loan transactions across CRE, C&I, leveraged finance, and tax credits.
• Analyze cash flow, collateral, and financial statements for risk assessment.
• Assess borrowing base certificates and covenant compliance.
• Communicate findings clearly with internal/external customers.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of financial markets and competition.
• Support lending officers in structuring and analyzing transactions.
• Collaborate with lending units to manage maturities and pipeline.
• Participate in weekly loan committee meetings as Credit Dept. representative.
• Coach and mentor junior credit associates.
• Engage with Relationship Managers on client calls and meetings.

Responsibilities

• Underwrite commercial loan transactions, including CRE, C&I, leveraged finance, and tax credits.
• Clearly communicate with internal and external customers.
• Work with others to produce needed outcomes and meet deadlines.
• Complete follow-up analysis on financial statements and borrowing base history.
• Maintain up to date knowledge of financial industry, economy, market conditions, and competition.
• Ensure credit related follow-up items are reflected on the follow-up systems.
• Provide support to lending officers in structuring and analyzing potential transactions.
• Partner with lending units to manage maturities and pipeline while ensuring deadlines and client service.
• Be active in weekly loan committee meetings as a Credit Department representative.
• Assist the Credit Manager in coaching and mentoring junior associates.
• Accompany Relationship Managers on client calls when needed.
